This opening sequence has been created for a documentary exhibition called "Le Bombe di Savona" (Savona's Bombs).
Based on a true story, Savona a small city in the north west of Italy, was under multiples terroristic attacks in the early 70's. More than ten bombs exploded in the city and unfortunately some people died. The community gathered themselves in the streets to rise their voices loud and clear, asking justice to politicians and police, but after 50 years no culprits has been charged for those crimes. A Neo-Nazis group called "Ordine Nero" claimed these attacks, but this case still has shadows and not answered questions.
All the artworks were created with old and original assets from that period.
I used AI to adding movement on some photos, the rest was crafted in Photoshop and animated and composited in After effects for a vintage style result.
